<div>FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE</div>
<div>Harper Library Resale Shop Announces Expansion</div>
<div>Harper, Texas….On April 17, Saturday at the Harper Library Resale Shop they will be holding their first “Tax Free Sale” for that entire day.   “At the new building located at 23550 US-290 West (across from the Harper High School campus) there is lots of parking available for our customers” says Glenna Hartman one of the new volunteers.   With the recent construction improvements there has now been added two new rooms for our customers and a large receiving and work area for our volunteers.</div>
<div>We would like to invite our friends from the Junction area to come check out the new store, and many have stopped and found the store delightful and the pricing very fair according to store manager Kathleen Keller.</div>
<div>Kathryn Jenschke noted “we now have a special Boutique Room with brands such as Chico, Talbot, Howard Wolff to name a few, as well as unusual collectible items, even some Nodder Dolls.“   “It is so much fun volunteering here at the Shop with so many items I am proud to sell to our customers and supporters.“  With the inventory changing daily some customers have found what they’re looking for so they don’t have to drive that 50-mile roundtrip to Kerrville or Fredericksburg.”</div>
<div>With a new larger room our customers will now have a wonderful opportunity to purchase larger items (furniture, exercise equipment, etc.) and high quality collectibles (dolls, glassware, jewelry, etc.) without paying the Sales Tax.  Florence Brown, one of the Managers, said “They just received a Leyse Professional 18/10 Stainless Steel Cookware Collection that will be available for this sale.  Remember we have high quality at country prices.”  She also mentioned that  presently we have a nice selection of leather couches, old oak kitchen chairs in excellent condition and there are new treasures arriving every day we‘re open, many in their original boxes.</div>
<div>The Farmer’s Market will also be open on this Saturday.  Kay Kloesel, the manager, said “We are open the first and third Saturdays of the year and proudly have fresh eggs, plantings and home-baked goods and have even had live roosters donated for the sale.  You never know what is available so stop by and see what you can find.”</div>
<div>
The privately funded non-profit Harper Library receives “100% of the profit from the Resale Shop to maintain the library and it’s ongoing community programs, as well as some donations for the ongoing Building Fund.  The Building Fund is needed to refit the rear of the new building for the future use of the Library.</p>
<p>The Harper Library Resale Shop is open on Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. &#8211; 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  The hours may change in the future as the needs of the community change.  If you have any questions you can call during business hours at 864-5870.</p></div>
<div>The Resale Shop said they are taking donations, during business hours, of clean, slightly used items, and for bigger items arrangements can be made for their pickup.</p>
